I provide portable sawmill services in Durango, CO, offering seasonal on-site milling throughout the summer for landowners across Southwest Colorado. Based seasonally near Durango, I serve La Plata County and surrounding areas including Bayfield, Creede, South Fork, Mancos, Dolores, Cortez, and Pagosa Springs. I bring the sawmill directly to your property and mill customer-provided logs into usable lumber, leaving boards, beams, and slabs stacked on-site.

How the Process Works

1. Reach out, send photos, log count, rough diameters/lengths, and your location.

2. Get an estimate
I’ll let you know what your logs can yield, how to prep the site, and what to expect on milling day.

3. Milling day
I arrive with the mill, and mill the logs into lumber on-site.

4. Aftercare
I’ll help you understand stacking, drying, and next steps for your lumber.

Southwest Colorado has a great variety of usable timber. I regularly work with:

  • Lodgepole pine (including beetle-kill/blue-stain)

  • Spruce & fir

  • Aspen​
